Topic > The five vowels as an introduction to learning the...

First of all the goal outlined is that students will identify the five vowels of the alphabet, pronounce the sounds correctly, write all the vowels independently and listen carefully to the teacher participating in all activities. In the first learning activity the teacher shows the different images he uses during the anticipatory phase. It corresponds to the first objective because students will be able to identify the vowels on the images. In the following activities the teacher will say the name of the objects that include words that begin with a vowel and then the students will imitate the teacher in pronouncing the words and the vowel. The teacher will repeat the process until the students are able to familiarize themselves with the sounds and pronounce them correctly. This corresponds to the second objective because the students learned to pronounce the vowel sounds correctly. After students are familiar with the different vowel sounds, the teacher will introduce writing, providing students with materials to trace vowels. In the final activity the teacher will show students how to write the vowel in the sand. This corresponds to objective three because the teacher shows students how to write all the vowels independently. The learning activities helped students achieve their goals
