I consider myself socially responsible in my job duties, patient care and procedures. Since I'm not at that level as a healthcare manager, it will be top priority. However, I still have a great social responsibility when it comes to my job in a dental practice. I will continue to apply these ethical standards to my work on HIPAA, ACA, OSHA, and insurance to protect patients and myself. For example, preaching to patients with poor oral health and increasing education about Invisalign. My true mission as an HCM would be to learn, be informed, and educate staff on ethics and increase patient safety. That's the type of person I am and will work towards a healthcare management position. It is ethical to keep the community in mind even in a balanced budget to see where to cut and improve costs on medical services. However, by maintaining a constant level of costs, it may mean that more people will have access to care as it is more affordable (Morrison, p. 139, 2011). It is a social and ethical responsibility to consider the entire community to attract more patients and ensure their availability
