The progress of technology has allowed the birth of new means of communication. It is more advanced than our previous types of media known as "traditional media", such as newspapers, radio and television. Social media is the technology that makes up the Internet today. The general public relies on print and electronic media to know what is happening around the world. Whether it's current events, movies, or entertainment, it has never been as easily available to people as it is today. The Internet allows us to cross borders and mix with the culture of other countries around the world, without having a passport. Technology allows us to make new friends, stay in touch with current friends, and find long-lost friends and family in seconds if not instantaneously across the country and world, on mobile phones and Android.
