I was able to see through the eyes of a child with learning difficulties in several areas. I always understood that children with learning disabilities learned differently, but I had no idea how extreme the difference could be. The problems were difficult for me and became frustrating. Now I know firsthand how frustrating it can be for students who have learning difficulties in several areas. It's amazing what extra time or shorter questions can do to increase understanding. I realize that some things that come naturally to me can be extremely difficult for someone who learns differently.
