Political parties have existed as long as political life or work has existed. Even if the political conditions were different, they existed before they were called factions, gangs, cliques, etc. It can be said that "as long as there is a difference in the way of being human, and there always will be, there will be parties"(1). As long as there is mistrust and different economic, political and social interests, they will see political parties. Political parties are instruments used for constant class struggle. There are many different definitions of a political party, but the most specific definition is that of Andrés Serra Rojas, who states that "A political party is made up of a group of men and women, who are citizens in the full exercise of their civil rights and who legally They are organized on a permanent basis to represent a part of the social community, with the aim of developing and implementing a political platform and a national program with a governing group” (1). Article 9 states: “The right to peacefully associate or assemble for any lawful purpose shall not be restricted; but only citizens of the Republic can do so to take part in the political affairs of the country. “No armed meeting has the right to deliberate.” That is to say, we all have the right to associate or meet to take part in the political affairs of the country (political parties, assemblies, associations, protests, etc.), but it must be peaceful (not guerrilla warfare). However, for a political party to be integrated, it must meet certain requirements required by federal electoral law. The first political party of the era as......middle of paper......RD took the most important positions which have continued to this day; the governorship of the capital of Mexico. Subsequently, the PRD grew strongly, with AMLO as its main candidate, but failed to overcome the second opposition power, the PAN. In conclusion, political parties in Mexico emerged thanks to many policies imposed by the PRI in the 1980s. The PAN emerged thanks to the disagreement of many politicians during the Maximato. The PRD was born thanks to many contradictors who at a certain point united in the PRI. During the 20th century several left-wing parties existed in Mexico, but in my opinion thanks to the proximity of the United States and the Cold War. They could not advance. Because if we analyze deeply, throughout the 20th century, socialism and communism prevailed in Latin America, but not in Mexico..
