What effects does the death penalty have on society? My first instinct regarding the topic as part of society was “People who deprive another person of their life should have no right to keep their own life.” Put ourselves in the shoes of the victims, the victims of the families and the fear caused to society in general. The death penalty gives closure to the people involved in the tragedy. Keeping an intern for 25 years or more helps solve the problem of overpopulation in the prison system. Finally, people who have received the death penalty usually cannot be rehabilitated. If these people have the opportunity they will kill, rape and torture again. There are many factors that make murderers unable to control their impulses, such as: bad childhood, genetic genes (ADN), mental illnesses and brain abnormalities, all these factors activate deviant behavior.
