Since Jason's Deli does not appear to be a fast-food restaurant at first but actually have fast food processing methods and procedure, people may have difficulty understanding that they do not sit down like a formal restaurant. I anticipate that the seating register setup and lack of signage will be confusing for first-time customers. I recommend that they get a standing sign that people can see when they first open the door that says "Please proceed to register" and another standing sign near the front register that says "Please take a seat" . I find that people feel uncomfortable when they don't have clear direction on what the norm is in a venue. Finally, I would advise that while having your meal brought to your table gives it a more formal restaurant feel, it defeats the whole purpose of ordering your food and paying at the register for the fast food aspect. Beef-a-Roo is a local fast food restaurant and if they are not busy sometimes they will give you a number and bring out your food, other times they won't give you a number and will yell your number from the receipt -which is a procedural thing they have to be developed and consolidated at regional level. Jason's Deli is overall a great fast food restaurant and the procedures they have in place to process customers work very efficiently and
