Growing tension over the sinking of a South Korean ship led to a serious conflict between South and North Korea. South Korea accuses North Korea of purposely launching the torpedo that killed 46 sailors. According to Yonhap News, a North Korean military officer accused the South of intruding into North Korean waters of the Yellow Sea. North Korea sends a warning message to South Korea by launching a torpedo to warn South Korea not to intrude into its waters in the Yellow Sea. North Korea does not want to admit its mistake; instead, they threaten to react with military action if South Korea does not stop with the accusations. The intentions and actions of North Korea's leadership seem more inexplicable than ever. The North Korea mystery erupted as relations with South Korea froze amid heightened tensions. According to the official of the North Korean Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea, South Korean President Lee blamed Pyongyang for the sinking of the South Korean ship Cheonan in March. The North Korean agency said Tuesday that the communist nation is severing all ties with its southern neighbor and "will abrogate the non-aggression agreement." Since North Korea does not want to surrender, apologize and punish those responsible for this tragic mass, South Korean President Lee issued a statement saying that his country will suspend trade with North Korea, closing its waters to Ships of the North and the adoption of a new aggressive military attitude towards its neighbor. However, KCNA was reported as saying that the North would "inflict merciless and harsh punishment." According to the committee's recommendations, they are ... middle of paper ...... against North Korea, obviously North Korea will not take this conflict seriously and will reject what South Korean President Lee said in the its statement by suspending trade with North Korea, closing its waters to North Korean shipping, and adopting an aggressive new military posture toward its neighbors or all communications between North Korea and South Korea will be cut off and ships and South Korean airliners will be banned from passing through the North Korean territorial waters and airspace. Many people and neighboring countries will suffer from this problem. According to the economy of North Korea and South Korea, North Korea is not stable enough to survive on its own, if both countries do not end this conflict, North Korea may collapse just like the North Korea did Soviet Union.
