Marketing Campaign for a Small Business In this project I will produce a marketing campaign for a small retail business. The activity that I am about to "do" will have competitors in the area. Before opening my business, I will have to decide a few main things. For example, what products I will sell, the prices at which the products will be sold, where my business will be located and how I will do it. I will promote my shop and products. For my marketing campaign plan, I will develop a small supermarket, which will be called Shoprite. I want to keep the supermarket as small as possible and the products to the best standard. The supermarket will sell household essentials and I would also like to stock a selection of sweets/crisps, newspapers and magazines, ice creams, fruit and vegetables, postcards, yoghurts, cigarettes etc. Shoprite will not be located in the center of Seaford but on the outskirts of the town, mainly in residential areas. The reason for this is that it will save people from traveling to the city for their needs. Shoprite's competitors will be:1. Cost cutters2. CO-OP3. Collect and weigh4. Green Grocery Before deciding on the products my supermarket will sell, etc. First I will come up with a research plan such as; will help me with the information I will need. The data I will collect, I will collect by distributing questionnaires to people aged 10 years or older. The questionnaire will ask questions such as: What is your age, gender, what product do you mainly buy, how much do you pay for the...... half of the card ......
