I didn't have “enough sense” to be disappointed about leaving school and joining the workforce. I was that person who once sold their books for beer money before the end of the quarter. With each passing year the dark cloud of this failure has grown. As I made the decision to go back to school I found myself starting to ask some difficult self-doubt questions. Am I smart enough to get a college degree? How embarrassing will it be if I fail as an adult? I finally got all this nonsense out of my head. Being the person I am today, and knowing everything I have accomplished so far, is proof to me that I will achieve my goal as a college student
