If you had asked me a while ago to declare how I wanted my life to go, I would most likely have been speechless. Secondary school, from ages 11 to 13, seemed to me like a huge confusion of nothingness. In hindsight I didn't think much about my school life. However, during the ages of 14-16; in my 'GCSE' years, things changed. I now know, with conviction, that a career in Biotechnology is what I am aiming for. Choosing A Level courses - Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology was an almost immediate choice for me, although the open evening allowed me to gain greater coherence in my bigger decisions. Considering that Biology and Chemistry are necessary for the career I want, it is certain that I will choose them and ultimately excel in them. However, the selection of Mathematics and Psychology had different reasoning. Mathematics is my favorite academic subject and I would like to expand my ability to adapt mathematical knowledge, further expanding what I already know at GCSE. However, the main reason is, I admit, that I feel that undeniable thrill and satisfaction after solving a difficult equation or answer....
