Have you ever been in a bad situation where the only thing you can think about are negative things? This happens to many people because it is much easier to point out the bad than to be grateful for the good. Just like people say it's easier to see flaws in someone than their strengths, it's the same concept. And there's a lot of different things you should see it in. Books, movies, people, school and just life in general. But if you can start to see the good in things, then it becomes easier and easier to see it. And one of the most legendary and tragic works of all still contains some good things. Although like I said they are a bit of a find! Maybe there are more positive things you could get from Romeo and Juliet, but here are the three I got; they found true love, they discovered who really cared about them and that the two families stopped fighting. For starters, one of the most positive things to come out of Romeo and Juliet is that they managed to find true love despite their families and that this made them happier than ever. When Romeo first spoke to Juliet he was overwhelmed by her beauty and immediately fell in love with her, and she with him. And that night, when they spoke in the garden, declaring their love to each other, he didn't want to leave. Then the next morning Juliet eagerly awaited Romeo's response to her proposal, wanting to know what he had said. And she was overwhelmed with joy and excitement when the nurse told her the news. When they got married they were both "over the moon" because they were so happy and in love with each other. And it proved this extremely when Juliet cried and cried for days because of Romeo's exile. Then Romeo got to see her the day before he was to... middle of paper... and, to speak more of these sad things; Some will be forgiven, others will be punished; For there has never been a more painful story than this of Juliet and her Romeo. This is the prince saying that this is the end of the feud and that they should go together to talk about their lost loved ones. And that there will never be a story as strong, enlightening and heartbreaking as Romeo and Juliet. Obviously, there are other good things you can get from Romeo and Juliet, but these are the three things I got out of it. First of all that they managed to find true love which made them incredibly happy. Secondly, they got to see people willing to do anything for them because they love them. And finally that the two families were finally able to stop arguing. Clearly, there were a lot of good things about this tragic comedy too. Works Cited The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet
