Topic > Character Analysis of Hedda Gabler by Henrik Ibsen
Instead of taking responsibility for her own mistakes in life, she decides to exploit everyone else's flaws and mistakes to control them. While the other characters seem to be naturally attracted to her in a positive way, she uses this against them to draw power towards herself. To top it off, she uses this power so recklessly that she isn't even able to draw a positive conclusion on her own. The story ends with her choosing the cowardly way out by committing suicide. Suicide should be viewed as spineless and not from a victim perspective because they created their own problems out of pure evil.
