Mathematics is recognized as a difficult subject. People who are good at this are considered to belong to some sort of elite. Usually to be "accepted" into this elite you have to meet some requirements and most of them are related to a specific gender. “Mathematics is a gift from God to children.” This has been society's perception for a long time. Most think that the nature of mathematics goes hand in hand with masculine attributes, so males are more focused on it. Therefore, according to these people, boys automatically become better at mathematics, while girls are excluded from any kind of decent relationship with this field of study. Although this perception that boys are better at mathematics than the opposite sex is the majority opinion, there are different opinions on this issue such as the other extreme that girls perform better in this field; and there are still people who believe that both genders have the same mathematical skills. First, because boys are more engaged in mathematics and science, most people think that their performance in this particular field is better than that of girls. People who believe this to be true argue that the brightest minds of all time and the most successful scientists of all time are men. They go even further, reminding society that every math-related concentration is overpopulated by males. In other words, kids are more likely to attend colleges related to math and science. For example, if you pass by the Faculty of Mathematics and Science of the University of Pristina you can meet mostly male students who attend this faculty. Even more, if you go further and search for the academic staff of this institution, you can see... half of the paper...
