So my interest in computer science was ultimately not limited to classroom and college life. It was when I visited my friend's software company that builds essential components of a smartphone application for the government. Rightfully so, simply watching my friend work gave me a totally new perspective on how certain things work and even how business operates on a broader spectrum. I was immediately fascinated by the computer systems in his workplace, which really piqued my interest in computer science. I always remember the feeling of wanting to know how computers worked, why they worked, and what else they could do. This interest never abandoned me, but became deeper and more passionate with each new discovery I made from him
