This is achieved in various ways; for example, creating low-friction opportunities, minimizing differences in perception, and providing multiple avenues to stay connected to others. Despite the erosion of disparities, social media cannot completely replace face-to-face interaction, but it can complement it. I recognize that not everyone experiences the benefits that I have. Regardless, I believe social media has become a platform to connect despite distances, time zones and hectic schedules – most of their days.
