In essence, the extensive use of technology in classrooms has reduced tutors' workload while improving students' overall performance through the use of various programs aimed at developing student learning. Technology is used in all types of school scenarios, including early childhood education. Some technologists and education specialists, however, say the use of technology in early childhood could be harmful. This article seeks to explore both the positive and negative attributes of the use of technology in early childhood education. Use of Technology in Early Childhood Education Technology is the most vital element of life in today's world. Every aspect of our lives is dominated by technology and its importance in our lives is indispensable. One of the salient facts about the use of technology in schools is its controversial nature. There is no common agreement among stakeholders in the technology and education sectors on the use of technology in schools. There are two different factions, one supports the use of technology as a positive aspect, while the other faction disagrees, citing the harmful effects of technology on students. It is important to note that the use of technology in children's education depends on how it can be harnessed for learning purposes in children. Research conducted by health professionals supports that the use of technology in children's education can produce harmful effects on health, particularly obesity. Therefore, children's exposure to technological gadgets such as computers and tablets, among others, should be carefully controlled.
