Topic > Healthy Eating Habits: Organic Vegan Diet - 1689

Healthy eating goes hand in hand with physical and mental health, and a purely raw organic vegan diet proves to be the best for everyone's health, study after study. A purely raw organic vegan diet may seem incredibly radical to some, but it contains the most important information, such as animal products, environmental impact, genetically modified foods, pesticides, and cooking toxicity/nutritional loss. With a little science, this needlessly controversial question can be well resolved. Animal products, such as dairy, eggs, and especially meat, are staple foods here in America (“A Nation”). Most of us eat at least one every day. Most of us grew up with them as household names and were taught that for good health they are not only necessary but necessary for consumption. Dairy products are known for being rich in calcium, eggs for being rich in animal protein, and meat for being high in animal protein. Dairy products are obviously rich in calcium and animal protein, but they are also great for acidifying the body ("Debunking"). Our ability to absorb calcium in cow's milk is incredibly low, and this acidifying quality of all animal proteins is where the myth of drinking milk for calcium comes into play. You see, calcium is an excellent acid neutralizer and our body stores calcium primarily in the bones. This means that when we consume milk or any other animal protein, our body becomes acidic and our body counteracts this by eliminating calcium from our bones to neutralize it. Once calcium is eliminated from the bones, it is urinated. Consuming dairy or any other animal protein depletes our body of calcium and makes it much more susceptible to fractures. Countries with the lowest dairy consumption, such as... half of paper ......use food to transform it into “empty” calories that only fill you up for a short time and leave the body deprived of vitamins and other nutrients (" Details"). There are countless articles like the one I used in the paragraph that support the same information ("Zenhabits"). To conclude, the information in this essay may be quite difficult for the average person to accept. For most people, it seems strange to even think about never eating cooked food. However, it is important to remember that the most effective way to make a transition to a completely raw organic vegan diet is with forgiveness and time. It's better for us and the planet to introduce organic raw plant foods into our lives slowly and with the knowledge that it's okay to indulge in them from time to time. It is even said that the most successful organic raw vegans indulge themselves every now and then.
