Topic > The impacts of George Washington, Jefferson or Jackson?

I believe his role as the first president had a much greater impact on the United States than Presidents Jefferson and Jackson. Being the first president would have been very difficult because Washington didn't know exactly what his role was and what he was supposed to do. He had to make up for it along the way. Washington once wrote: “Few can realize the difficult and delicate part which a man in my situation must act. I am walking on uncharted terrain. There is almost no part of my conduct that cannot be considered a precedent in the future.” President Washington had to establish many conditions and aspects of executive power. He helped make the role of the president what it is today. This is part of the legacy he left. As I said before, Washington achieved many successes in battle and was seen as a national hero. Washington passed on a legacy of national purpose, courage, strength and integrity. I believe these legacies are accurate because of all that Washington has done for the people and the federal government
