Reese was smart enough to bring his wife into the mix because if he was ever caught in the future his beliefs would be reduced because his wife was helping him. The officers never consumed the drugs purchased by the Reeses, rather they evaluated the quantity given to them to have enough evidence to charge him. The first meeting with Thomas Reese and the agents went smoothly. Reese could not contact the agents again for further purchases even though he doubted the agents were undercover.
