However, after learning the concept, I found that it is important in our life. To talk about why this lesson was important, at first, “More time is spent on nonverbal communication than verbal” (150). For example, we will use eye contact and facial expressions to provide feedback to the speaker in our group. It's important to let them know whether we understand or not. Thus “nonverbal messages are usually more credible than verbal messages” (151). Emotion is what people always fail to hide, so we can know more information nonverbally.
