Wayne Dyer once said “doing what you love is the cornerstone of abundance in your life.” Ever since I was little, fashion has always been a very important part of my life. However, while most of the girls were busy planning Barbie's next outfit, I was eagerly trying to figure out the best way to market and sell Barbie to my friends. This habit didn't end during my childhood; rather it followed me through high school. I firmly believe that being passionate about your career can add a lot of happiness and depth to your life. By attending FIT I can bring and carry positive ideas and qualities with me. Throughout my school career I focused on law. Law wasn't my passion but with a family full of lawyers it's what I was meant to be. During my senior year, I decided to take the Fashion Trends elective course. This turned out to be the best course I ever took, reviving my love for fashion and marketing. I discovered qualities and talents in myself that I had never known.
