Specifically, resources that I could use to further develop in my field. I now had a contract and employment with Birmingham City Public Schools and was now working as an educator exclusively through the public sector. Over the next two years, I worked with teachers across the state to continue addressing educational excellence and educational equity. To undertake educational equity I worked with parents and community members to empower them through education. Specifically, I taught Spanish lessons for these individuals to not only enable them to help their children with their academic work, but also to acquire a skill that they could use in a business context.
