Topic > Analysis of Abortion - 1031

George, the authors discuss how abortion is morally wrong. According to the authors, “human embryos and fetuses are complete (albeit immature) human beings”. They then face counterarguments that human embryos are not the same person because they are not conscious like a person is. The authors respond that human embryos have "natural abilities" even if less developed for reason, so according to the authors it makes no sense to say at what point an embryo becomes a person. And the authors conclude that the burden of carrying a pregnancy to term is less than “killing” the fetus. I also think that it is not right to try to label an embryo as a human organism or not as a person, it is a human person and has the right to live. But women cannot be forced to carry to term a pregnancy they do not want, and no one should have the right to complain about them
