Topic > Review of “The Rivalry Mystery at The Army – Navy Game” by John Feinstein

The book I finished is called “The Rivalry Mystery At The Army – Navy Game” by John Feinstein. The publication date for this book was September 28, 2010. The Navy game mentioned in the book took place on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. There are two hundred and sixty-eight pages in the book. This book is a fictional book, but the Army - Navy games were very real. I think this book is phenomenal and would be perfect if you are a sports fan. Say no to plagiarism. They quickly learn about the ongoing rivalry with the Army and Navy football teams that dates back 110 years. They also have to deal with things like unjust officials and secret services. These two high school students have a lot going on in their lives such as sports writing, their first year of school and their feelings for each other. For some people this book is really great for those of us who love these types of books. However, I personally didn't like the book, but there were parts that really caught my attention, like at the end of the book where all the facts about the real Army - Navy game were given. The end of the book said things like the most points someone had earned or that George W. Bush had attended the Army-Navy game 3 times in the past. There were parts of the book that I didn't like, for example, at the end of the book the final score was 25-25, the score was tied. I believe the final score should have been different ending with someone winning, doing this would have made the reader more satisfied with the ending of the game. I also didn't like the part where Stevie separated from Susan Carol, she left because she was assigned to travel with the Navy team. I have no real reason for this, I just think they should have stayed together. Please note: this is just an example. Get a custom paper from our expert writers now. Precisely for this reason I didn't like this book very much, but this is just my personal opinion on the book. If this is a book you would like to read, you can find it at any Fulton County library or you can find it online. I wouldn't recommend this book because for me it was boring and not a very enjoyable read. The beginning of the book starts slow but gets a little interesting towards the end in case you want to read this book.
