It is the ability to analyze a situation effectively so that you can generate goals about it by setting objectives, determining the main concerns, probable difficulties and opportunities. Likewise, I decided to become a water treatment engineer. Now I am studying the Master's degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Sciences. I have prepared my strategic career plan to understand it better and easily in four phases. Phase 1: Scope: Key Facts of the Situation In this phase I have studied my situation, identified my interests, strengths and skills, and outlined each step I will take complete in developing my career. Phase 2: Analysis with PMI and OPV In this phase, I put myself in other shoes to think from their point of view so that I can understand the point of view of people associated with me and my career. The advantage and disadvantage in the career I have chosen. Because they are the source ofinspiration and an important part of my career development. Step 3: Vision (Big Results) It is the important step where I can see myself succeeding and moving forward for my career advancement. Here, I have planned the achievement that I will complete in the given time period, which will indicate that I am moving forward to achieve success. Step 4: Implement ideas into actions It is the most critical step while making your career plan. Here I have written all the possible answers explaining the reason, person, place, time and the element that inspired me to pursue a career that I am passionate about. Without the guidance and guidance of external coaches, mentors, and consultants, I simply cannot establish myself as a water treatment engineer. Beyond that, I need to have skills and competencies. To get guidance from mentors, I looked for people ranging from researcher to administrative person working in water treatment industries. I want to connect with many of them because their work has been a source of inspiration and motivation for me. For me, connecting with them is also a step towards career advancement as they could be the potential mentor and employer for me. They can provide me with advice, in-depth insight into my career, challenges and required skills and knowledge. As you can do much better with the help of coaching from consultants. I have to network with a lot of people. Among these I wanted to learn from Dr. Ralf Cord-Ruwisch. He is a senior researcher in biological water treatment and currently works in improving the biological removal of water pollutants and commercializing improved nitrogen removal technology for wastewater treatment. In order to learn from him I have to get in touch with him. I had to know about him so I Googled him and emailed him. It wasn't safe to get an answer from him. I had the fear of rejection to get a response from him. My confidence was low. It took some time to get a response from him. Despite this, I was hoping to hear from him. In fact, he replied, he said he was busy and didn't have time to talk to me on the phone. Instead, he said he can answer my questions via email. This way I got answers to all my questions, his opinions on obstacles to career advancement and his advice. It was useful and valuable for my knowledge and personal growth. This activity helped me develop social skills and self-confidence. I also got his references to connect with other people in the water industry. I want to do an internship in water treatment industries in Australia by the second half of 2020. There are several possibilities for this. I may be able to do the internship easily and on time, or I may not be able to do it. Every place has its own rules and priorities and if I fall back on those priorities I will increase my chances of getting an internship. The next possibility is that there is competition among people to do internships. I have to stay above all of them in every way, like talent, knowledge, communication skills, interpersonal skills to grab this opportunity quickly. When I get a call for an internship, I should be able to use this opportunity wisely and prove myself during that time so that they can consider me as a good person and potential employee in the future. But if I fail to complete the course on time, I may not be able to get an internship. At that moment there may be no demand for internships in the desired sectors. There are several reasons that could cause your internship plan to fail. Ifall is well, next, I want to acquire a proficiency in chemical engineering by 2023, which I will start immediately after completing my internship in early 2021. Firstly, I need to fulfill the prerequisites to enroll in the University of Chemical Engineering. However, it would be difficult to work and study full time. I have to manage my time efficiently by focusing more on studying and less on other activities. While working I should work towards achieving positional power within 6 years also from 2023 so that it allows me to realize my vision. This will give a great advancement to my career. I may be able to do research on my own. I might be able to discover a new technique and that would be the great achievement. I may be able to contribute to the community. This will not be an easy task because GOOD. I should acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out the research by then. I may not get permission from the government to do research in that field. I may not get enough research funding. I may not be able to continue my study and research. I may have to dedicate time to my family and personal life. There may be an unexpected accident in the family, so I may have to return to my home country without completing my studies. However, I want to establish myself as a water treatment engineer and researcher by 2029 and continue working on water treatment projects. There are many positives and negatives about it. First, I would like to discuss the positive aspects of that timeline. Being able to establish myself as an engineer and researcher would be a great achievement. I might be able to do something better for the community and the people. After reaching this point I would have to develop certain skills and competencies in my field, social skills and self-confidence. I would have to develop excellent engineering knowledge, good skills to communicate in a positive and respectful manner, comfort in working in a group as a team member, as well as leadership skills, ability to be proactive and resourceful and solve problems as they arise. I could have job satisfaction, great pay and benefits, quality of life, and happiness. I can't achieve all the success mentioned above if I don't have dedication, passion for work and continuity in work. It takes a lot of commitment and hard work to get there. Furthermore, chemical engineer working in water treatment industries is a potentially dangerous working condition. It could cause serious illness due to exposure under such conditions. Chemical engineering has a mixed job prospect and a busy life. My parents and husband may want me to stay with them. It is my responsibility to take care of them. But due to busy life I may not be able to find a balance between work life and family life and spend quality time with them. The job could be stressful as chemical engineer work in water treatment industries is time consuming. I may not be able to have a happy, quality family life. However, now there are many women working as chemical engineers in water industries and they can be my role models. I could learn how to balance my career with a family. One day I will have children and at that time I will have more people to look after and take care of. I should be flexible enough to manage time effectively for a demanding career and have a great family life. Obviously, for this I need a lot of help and innovative time planning. I should be communicative and efficient to establish a support network./
