When irony introduces something to the crowd that the actors don't know, it makes each individual feel like they have a secret. They want to loudly tell the characters about the coming events, but they know that they cannot stop the end of the play. In Hamlet there is a comedy within a comedy. During this scene the actors share what happened and give hints about what comes next. The public begins to realize that there will be deaths. They know that people will die, but each character has a sense that their intentions and goals will succeed. Each individual is lost in their own personal beliefs and understandings, does not look at the facts and cannot see what is happening. Each character is too caught up in what they believe is right and doesn't see what is right
