What method of evangelism did you use and how did you start the conversation? The evangelism method I used for my testimony report was the “Four Spiritual Laws.” I chose this method because it is simple and straight to the point and contains facts that I believe cannot be disputed. It is also quick and easy to explain. The way I started the conversation was simple actually, for a while one of my family members was confused about whether God existed or not and the last time I came home we talked about what I had learned to Liberty. So I thought it would be a good idea to report back what I've learned these past few weeks from this course. obviously what I learned from this course are different ways of evangelizing and that's how the conversation started. What was the reaction (comments/questions/statements) of the non-believer? The particular family member I was caring for I had known for some time and would have been stubborn in my approach. My family member asked me what I have learned in evangelism and I told them about some approaches on how those who can achieve salvation. From there I introduced the “Four Spiritual Truths” method which in my opinion would be very effective if implemented correctly. I said, “The four laws are: God loves you and provides a wonderful plan for your life, Man is sinful and separated from God, Jesus Christ is God's only provision for man's sin, We must receive individually Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. "Of course I got an uncomfortable response at first. I was asked why I have to accept Jesus as my savior to be saved, why can't it be that I can't just be a good person to get into heaven. Of course I responded with: “ God wants us to be perfect holy beings in his p... middle of paper... many prayers that he can feel and receive Christ in his life To end the conversation I told him that I really want him to become a Christian with me so that he can have with me eternal life. I stated that I do not want to move forward in life without having the great feeling of being in communion with God. However, I concluded with the fact that I will not try to speed up the process, he will have to find the will to find God himself. There's only so much I can say and do and the type of person I'm dealing with doesn't like to be forced to do something he's not sure of, so I find it best to have the Holy Spirit work in his life to show him that his path is the right one for him. However, I will continually pray for him so that the Holy Spirit knows that he needs salvation, he needs to have communion with Christ and have eternal life.
