The main components of candles are wax and wick. We can divide candle making processes into two main parts, wax making and modeling wax. a) Wax production First, choose the type of wax. We can find different types of wax on the market, including paraffin wax, soy wax and beeswax. You can choose one or you can use old candles. Next, you need to cut the wax into small pieces so you can melt them much easier. You should put the wax on a piece of paper so as to prevent the wax from moving against the water vapor on the table. After that, you need to prepare a half bowl of water and make sure there is enough space for a small container that you would like to put the wax inside to melt it. So, put those little pieces of wax inside the little container and put the container inside the bowl and you can start boiling the water. The wax would melt. Next you need to put the thermometer inside the wax to see if the wax melts. Different temperatures are needed to melt different types of wax. You can then add the favorable color to the wax. Only oil-based dyes are allowed. Regular food colors won't work here as they are water based. After adding several drops of dye, remember to stir the wax
