Abortion should be illegal The words of an unborn child are ones that almost no one thinks about or hears. One of the most controversial topics in this country is abortion. However, when you consider the constitutional violation of women through the restriction of abortion; the torment of the unwanted child; and the anguish that society must endure, then this topic would not be so objectionable. Too many people don't see the effects abortions cause. It is a very dangerous crime that affects the mother, the father, the community and, most importantly, the fetus, and this is why abortion should be illegal in Canada. First, abortion is against God's law in many holy books such as the Bible and the Quran. Second, abortion not only affects the individual, but the community as a whole, and those people's rights are violated. However, abortion has no effect in cases of rape, nor in terms of women's rights, which is the constant argument made by people in favor of abortion. And finally, abortion should be seen for what it is: murder. What gives us the right to decide who should live and who should die? This is God's decision. The fetus, the innocent human life whose only protection in the world is the maternal womb, can no longer feel protected because even its own mother could have it murdered. Yet that child did nothing to deserve to have his life taken so suddenly. How can a small child who can hear, breathe and move be condemned to die without ever saying or doing anything wrong? In our Constitution, we all have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Because even the child is not given these rights??
