It took me 17 hours to graduate, but I knew if I stayed focused I could do it. It was a tough semester because I was still living in Conway, working 40 hours a week, and had 17 hours of classes that I took. I knew everything was about to pay off because I would be graduating soon. I have always had in mind the desire to obtain a master's degree in University Student Personnel. I decided that I would do my capstone project on student support services at Tech because I had been a part of the program since its inception. After working with them, I decided I wanted to get a master's degree because if I did half of what they do for their students I would feel accomplished. I decided that I would try to get into the master's program because I knew that was what I wanted to do with my life. It was exciting to figure out what I wanted to do after so many times of changing majors and feeling discouraged. I finished my last semester with another 4.0 GPA and my final GPA was 3.8.
