General search and rescue fields are generally determined by the type of terrain in which the search is conducted and are classified into many specialized subfields. (Major, RH, 1859). Definitions according to the Emergency Management Service, 2008: DEFINITIONS OF TERMINOLOGY Alert post The place that acts as an intermediary between a reporting person and the coordination center or rescue sub-centre. Scope of awareness The distance at which a search scanner is located can first discover something different from the surrounding environment but not yet identify it. Awareness Phase The time during which the SAR system is well informed of the potential incident. Wrap-Up Phase The time during a SAR incident when SAR teams and companies return to their normal locations and make contact ready for another incident. Coordination The combination of organizations and elements to ensure an effective search and rescue response. Datum A geographic point, line or settlement used in survey planning. Reference Area A location where the search has determined that the object is likely to be discovered. Reference Line A line, such as the track line or bearing line intended for the depleted vessel, that defines the midpoint of the reference area. Hazard Phase A situation in which there is reasonable certainty that a ship or other vessel (an aircraft or a pers...... means of paper ......all in that area. Conclusion It is essential to have a team search and rescue in every city where there is an emergency service. It is not necessary to work every day, but it is necessary to choose a team.
