His parents are still together but have shown domestic violence in the home. Loyalty means everything to him, he would do anything he can for his friends or family. At this time, Caracterra currently resides in Hell's Kitchen alone and struggles to let go of his past childhood. Caracterra attended a religious school in Manhattan, where he met his four friends. He and another friend were altar boys at church and at funerals, especially for Vietnam heroes. Both wanted to pursue a priestly career. Despite being altar boys, they become close friends of the priest. The priest became a role model for Caracterra. The priest was more of a father figure to Caracterra than his father was. She went to him for advice on life and when she needed guidance. The priest was a criminal in Hell's Kitchen when he was younger, but he managed to turn his life around. He was always there for Caracterra in hopes that he could keep him out of trouble. Presenting Problem Caracterra seeks counseling to overcome her PTSD, regarding her childhood experience. Caracterra and three of his friends got into trouble after stealing a hot dog stand and accidentally knocking it down a flight of stairs, hitting a man and leaving him in critical condition. Caracterra was sentenced to six to 12 months at the Wilkinson Home for Boys in upstate New York. While serving his sentence, he and his friends undergo countless times... middle of paper... conflict theory when he is forced to decide whether to continue with criminal behavior after being at the Wilkinson Home for Boys. or whether he should listen to the priest and make appropriate decisions. Fortunately, Caracaterra was one of the individuals in Hell's Kitchen to pursue a career instead of engaging in disruptive and criminal behavior. Conclusion Caracaterra is a white male in his 30s who continues to struggle to copy his past. Caracterra expounded many theories during his life, including attachment theory and psychoanalytic theory. At this time, Caracterra resides alone in Hell's Kitchen and struggles to let go of his past childhood. Caracterra has experienced many of his own traumas throughout his life, but is showing improvements in the way he deals with the problem by being motivated in his work and not engaging in any criminal behavior.
