Not only does the neighborhood benefit from my help, but I also feel proud of performing selfless acts. Picking up trash is one of the simplest things you can do to protect and beautify your neighborhood. People always go to collect rubbish and rightly so. An unkempt community is not beautiful by anyone's standards. Placing flyers throughout the city is a great way to help others contribute to the cause. After organizing a small group of people to go out and pick up trash in our neighborhood, the results showed that our community is clean. By volunteering at places like soup kitchens or food pantries, I'll lend a helping hand to those in need who depend on the care of people like me and make new acquaintances in the process. Helping the environment is one thing, but helping someone who is directly dependent on care gives me an unspeakably good feeling. Whether it's starting a car wash, holding a community auction, or donating proceeds to a local nonprofit, all of these organizations take meaningful action. Whatever the cause, no matter how immense or tiny, I will always feel a great feeling from doing something noble for someone else
