The World Health Organization has ranked Kuwait second in the world for obesity. It's not a big shock when you think about the increase in the number of junk food places around every corner. Because of this, not only are both body image and health affected, but also a person's self-control. In other words, it's hard to say no to something you want when it's right in front of you. Furthermore, the main causes of obesity can be grouped into three categories: poor nutrition, unhealthy lifestyles and harmful environmental factors. The first and most common cause of obesity here in Kuwait is poor food choices. The amount of junk food the average person consumes is immense, as is the amount of fast food restaurants found in literally every neighborhood.
