Nanako was originally born in another country to a very loving mother and father; however her mother had died when she was about a year old due to illness, leaving her father to raise her. Nanako's father was a very loving and loving father towards her who often talked and bragged about her to others; even though he had never told her about his work and simply said it would be something he would tell her about when she was older. However one day, when Nanako was only about 10 years old, she followed her father because her curiosity got the better of her and she wondered why her father was almost never home like before. She had approached a rather large building with what looked like very tight security and saw her father entering that building, she had to find another way to get in. And so she looked and looked trying to be careful not to be surprised until she found a hole big enough for her to fit into. Once he was inside he began searching for his father until he heard his voice and found him inside a room with others in lab coats. As he approached the door to see what they were doing, he noticed that there were tubes inside and that they had something inside. As he continued to get closer he stopped when he realized that they had people, animals and some things that were considered hybrids. He had also heard them talk about experiments on them with magic and abilities in order to create a perfect being that could also be used as a weapon because their nation was quite poor and lacked a strong army. Frozen in both shock and fear, Nanako couldn't believe that her father, the man she had always known to be kind and loving, was part of something considered dangerous and illegal. As he watched the experiments go on, he couldn't move, speak, or close his eyes and watched all the terrible things happen. But, a few minutes later, something went horribly wrong. One of the test subjects broke one of the tubes and lost control due to his natural magical ability going out of control, and started attacking everyone in the room, but soon saw Nanako and attempted to attack her as well, it was also when Nanako's father, already injured, noticed his daughter standing in front of that door, paralyzed with fear.
