Topic > Krispy Kreme Obsession - 1068

Since I was about four years old I have had an obsession with fast food: Krispy Kreme. My obsession takes me back in time, I can even remember everything that grew up. According to my grandmother, every time we passed a Krispy Kreme when I was about four years old, I would say the word "doughnut" when I saw the big red circle marking the words that said Krispy Kreme hot donuts now. And that's where it all began for me and my favorite kind of sweet junk food. Krispy Kreme, in particular, had an influence on me growing up. However, I am very passionate about American donuts. Most of the kids I grew up with were fans of cheese balls, pizza, popcorn, and ice cream; He never seemed interested enough in those kinds of treats. I had been hooked since what seemed like birth. When I was young, my first memory is getting the baseball donut inside Krispy Kreme. And it was more commonly known as a strawberry-filled donut. My grandmother would make the rounds and get them for me when I was about three. One of my favorite things to get and has always been easier for me to chew than anything else. I had lots of donuts and hot chocolate or iced chocolate milk while my nanny, Velma, watched. We had such a special bond because he had a daughter my age and her name was Jamila. Since then and I still do it, for a long time. Many other early memories I have are sleepovers I hosted at my nanny's house as a child. I remember celebrating my five-year birthday at the Arcade Iron Horse. I also remember being completely devastated when it closed its doors and went out of business not long after
