I envision myself in a position where I am a critical member of an organization helping to protect information and thwart security attacks on databases. I look forward to working in a place where my skills will be constantly put to use as an information security analyst, network administrator, or security consultant. It's not often you hear about female leaders in the cybersecurity field. I imagine myself as one of the many women who are breaking the mold in the information security industry. We are almost never given the reasons why cybercriminals were able to hack a database or what the organization is doing to increase the security level of its systems. I want to become one of the people who investigate these incidents, solve them, and make sure they don't happen again. I want to help the victims of these cyber criminals by ensuring that they are not victims again, but also track down and identify who is responsible for these attacks against individuals and people.
