Good thinking in general dictates good behavior everywhere. Critical thinking takes it a step further; rather than simply quieting a thought or opinion, engage it, explore it, and be open to the answers you might find as you do so. Through the teachings of this course, I have been able to use some of the methods and teachings such as For Argument's Sake by Daniel Cohen to begin to develop my critical thinking and apply what I have learned at work and at home. Since realizing the opportunity to change my way of thinking, I have noticed a big change in my work and how I am approached and responded to. I've developed a better working relationship with my bosses and employees by simply taking an extra moment or two to reflect on what was said and the reasoning behind it. Recognizing the way in which my own biases and feelings can immediately cloud my opinion on a rational, well-thought-out task has been very helpful, so that I can truly appreciate an idea, the personal dialogue that weighs the pros and cons before making note my opinion it was very helpful. it prevented me from making a very serious mistake if I had followed my instincts
