If I had chosen to go to college and play basketball and this injury had occurred at that time, I would have been devastated. My dream was to play professionally, not in college. I wanted to be a professional basketball player, not a college basketball player. I can always look back and say I was a pro. I am now attending school to become a doctor of physical therapy, all because of the injuries I suffered and the time I spent in physical therapy. I ended up falling in love with seeing patients healed through exercise, stretching, strengthening and nutrition. I can look back and say I did it the way I wanted to do it, and I can think about my future and how soon I will become a doctor of physics
