Sunshine is essential in a person's life as it helps the person understand their interests without distractions or pressure from other people. It is also beneficial to oneself as it gives the person the freedom to deal with their current conflicts. An individual must isolate himself from others to satisfy his sense of responsibility. By limiting an individual's contact with other people, this individual's decision to fulfill his or her responsibilities will be less influenced by strangers. In William Shakespeare's play Hamlet, Prince Hamlet feels responsible to be faithful to his father by avenging his death and preventing the decline of Denmark. However, to fulfill these duties, he must isolate himself from family and friends to limit their influence on his thoughts and actions. To keep an individual's true emotions intact towards another person, this individual must avoid anyone who can influence him. or change his feelings towards that person. Hamlet has a very strong devotion to his father and adores him. While Queen Gertrude, King Claudius, and the people of Denmark have stopped mourning King Hamlet's death, Hamlet's loyalty to his father causes him to continue his grief towards him.
