Designing a new system for Gala VisionsGala Visions is a fast growing video rental outlet for the majority of the Asian community where both Hollywood and Bollywood films are found, I will use ICT to design a new system for it. Analysis ======== Problem Context ------------------------- Gala Visions is a small video rental shop on the Whalley Range in Blackburn. The store hosts many different genres of films across Hollywood and Bollywood. It is managed by Fakhir. Identifying Potential Users ----------------------------------- Gala Visions is a widely used video rental service growing for the majority of the Asian community where both Hollywood and Bollywood films are found. For this reason, the store has grown from the manual system used for video/DVD rental. Its main problem is that it is very slow and unreliable. Fakhir is looking for alternative systems to upgrade the current system and increase the effectiveness of the company. Identifying User Needs------------------------------------ I myself go to Gala Visions to rent videos /dvd of all genres. Fakhir has granted me his full collaboration to carry out my computer course which, if effective enough, could invest in a computer with the system I am about to produce.
