Introduction We have all heard of the Arsenal or Gunners football club, one of England's most successful clubs throughout history. The club is based in Holloway, London, and was founded in Woolwich in 1886 as Dial Square. Arsenal have won a total of 13 first division titles, including the Premier League, 10 FA Cups, 2 League Cups, 12 Community League titles, 1 European Cup Winners' Cup and the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup. The Gunners have a remarkable record, namely for most consecutive seasons in the English top flight. Every team has a long-standing rivalry with another team, and Arsenal's rivals in history are north London neighbors Tottenham Hotspur. The match between these two clubs is therefore called the North London derby. Worth more than $1.3 billion, Arsenal is the fourth most valuable football association in the world in 2013, behind Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona.http:/ /www.forbes.com/sites/mikeozanian/ 2013/04/17/soccers-most-valuable-teams-real-madrid-dethrones-manchester-united-from-top-spot-at-3-3-billion/History of Arsenal FC (1886–1966)Origins of the London club can be traced back to the late 1800s by a group of workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, south-east London.
