Tells Hrothgar that he and his men are returning to Geatland. Before they are dismissed, Hrothgar gives Beowulf one last praise. They sail back to Geatland and return to Hygelac's hall. Moments pass smoothly in the city of Geatland, until a dragon underground seeks jealousy for the treasure they possess.
