The use of rhetorical appeals, logos, ethos, pathos and kairos, allowed me to explain to my colleague that free healthcare will overcome inequality, citing a emotional scene from the documentary “Sicko” to elicit sympathy, I used the quote from the former NHS CEO to make my argument believable and I understood the instant I was arguing. All these appeals had an impact on my colleague, but on a small scale, because there are many errors related to the healthcare system and it takes a long time to eliminate them. However, I managed to convince her that free healthcare will be rewarding, once implemented by demonstrating that medical care will be readily available to every person. Therefore, the discussion about free healthcare in my Political Science class allowed me and my peers to see a new perspective of the world more clearly and pushed us to raise our voices against any
