I give a lot of credence to the theory's core tenets: loving-kindness, authentic presence, and cultivating the wholeness of mind, body, and spirit. Emotional, religious, social and cultural beliefs have a huge effect on each individual's ability to heal. Honoring each individual's values ​​and beliefs maintains the dignity necessary to move forward with successful, collaborative planning, treatment and care. I must admit that I am amazed by the continuous and fascinating scientific revelations of today's medical science and research. However, without the human aspect of a loving, caring, and kind environment and the ability to believe in miracles, the field of medicine would be nothing more than robotic and mechanistic.
