It all started with momentum and true intentions to jump-start the economy. Various relief programs were implemented with the intent of helping those who could not help themselves, to ease the burden of such a low quality of life created by the Great Depression. Ultimately, however, the New Deal petered out, and people were still waiting for relief after several years. They began to question the effectiveness of the New Deal itself. Roosevelt began to find himself and his expert council running out of ideas to improve the economy. It was only after the New Deal that the economy finally began to recover
