Topic > The Arab Spring - 1006

A revolutionary wave of demonstrations and protests (both violent and non-violent), uprisings and civil wars in the Arab world that began on December 18, 2010, later referred to as "The Arab Spring". Starting with the Jasmine Revolution in Tunisia, shock waves spread across the country and threatened the stability of this oil-rich region with repercussions felt internationally. The purpose of this article is to show that the current situation is the corollary of decades of failed policies, exacerbated by unsolicited foreign intervention. The vast consequences, I will argue, require cautious attention and careful management by international communities and the Arab Human Rights Committee. While this article seeks to explore the root causes that drove the so-called “Arab awakening” and the hidden agenda behind the sudden pro-democracy uproar. A covert war that perhaps becomes a threatening war between the United States and the two strategic competitors, China and Russia are one of the many reasons that caused the onset of the Arab Spring. The United States could not go directly against either of these two BRICS members. [BRICS is an organization of emerging economies consisting of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa]. First, it was planned to eliminate China as a threat, but due to the fact that China is a nuclear armed power, the initial scheme was changed. A similar scenario occurred in Moscow. Everything was going according to plan, the US had a puppet in the Russian Kremlin, Boris Yeltsin, who privatized and plundered Russia's resources for the benefit of Western multinationals. Then Vladimir Putin emerged and turned the whole thing on its head. The “War on Terror” was the ideal scheme as Islam was aimed… middle of paper… towards a common goal. As the process unfolds in the Arab world, American interests will have to be addressed in different ways than in the past. New American wars will not be a promising option. The Arab Spring is also influenced by the two states that have been at war for about 60 years, Israel and Palestine, as the Palestinians refuse to have an integrated nation. The issue will require a year-long revamp, starting with the 3 superpowers who orchestrated the entire dilemma. After living in Saudi Arabia for 17 years, a country where there is no freedom of speech and one does not have the freedom to oppose policies implemented by the House of Al Saud, the Saudi royal family, as there are no political parties involved an order that comes out of Riyadh, the capital of the kingdom, recognizing that there is a major problem is not onerous to notice.
