He is seen as a healer, both physically and spiritually. Each of the four gospels is represented in everyday life. The healing part is played out every day throughout the church because churches do a great job of trying to heal people in the church who attend and have similar disabilities or injuries. An example would be when Oral Roberts University holds the Fall Revival every year. It is a ceremony where people go to listen to Dr. Mark Rutland's sermon and hear him preach about today's issues. At the end of his presentation he heals those who need help and does not stop until they are healed. This is a great example because it shows that we too can have faith in Jesus and heal others or make them feel better by helping others. An example of miracle workers in modern churches would be when we say prayers to God when we go through difficulties. We are taught to have great faith in Him when we pray because He will provide a great miracle that will relieve us of our problems in life. The life of Jesus is shown every day in society when you go to church and they talk about his life. The students here at ORU are also trying to show you the word of God and just spread his word and the knowledge that he knows so that others will have faith in him and know what happens in life. An example of today's society on the humility of Jesus would be when he performed miracles and exorcisms that he did not want in the world
