We live in a patriarchy where the social order supports gender inequality in society, but feminism is a counterargument against gender inequality. I identify as a feminist: all women should be considered equal to their male colleagues. After seeing the glass “Women against feminism”, I noticed that anti-feminists love order in patriarchal society and did not need feminism because they were not the “victim”. The anti-feminist believed that there was no difference between patriarchy and matriarchy because one gender would always surpass the other. After seeing “Everyday Feminism”, I was really impressed by the different articles I came across. My favorite article was "What to do when your child believes in gender bias", I like this article because it spreads awareness that children acquire gender bias at an early age. I love that the author encourages parents to embrace children for who they are and talk about gender bias with their children. For example, a girl may want to wear a Batman t-shirt with boy jeans, instead of labeling her as “boy” adults should encourage the girl to be who she wants to be (Friedrichs, 2015). Overall, I really enjoyed browsing this website, it helped me see feminism on a broader spectrum. It helped me understand that feminists don't "hate" the other gender, but embrace those they show a positive image of
